High quality PHOTOGRAPH of silent film star May McAvoy from the studio of Harold Dean Carse. (10 1/4" X 13") INSCRIBED by May McAvoy to fellow film star Carmel Myers- "To Carmel with fondest love- May." A very good print, with heavy glue residue on blank reverse from having been removed from Ms. Myers' photo album. Crease at upper lefthand corner of image. 2"-inch crease-like tear at lower lefthand edge of image. The portrait of May McAvoy shows her wearing a wide-brimmed hat, dressed in a white blouse buttoned at the top with a small crystal brooch. A splendid association.
