Present also is the ink stamp of writer William Eastlake at the top edge of front endpaper. About fine in a Vg.+ dj. (Some chipping at spine ends on dj. Half-inch tear at base of front cover of dj.) Dudley Nichols wrote the screenplay for the film, garnering an Academy Award nomination for his efforts. A rare signature in books.
