A very good copy in a Vg. dj. (Light spots of damping at upper edge of front cloth cover. Previous owner's name inked at head of front pastedown. A few abraided spots on front endpaper where a bookplate was removed. Edge tears in dj. Light sensitive spine on dj. has faded, but not so much as to be unreadable. A few edge chips at spine & adjoining areas of covers. Traces of light shelfsoiling to dj.) Basis for the superb 40's flm noir "Born To Kill." A scarce title.
